Implementation of a design strategy by developing and introducing to the market a modular children's water bottle supported by a subscription, returns and recycling system under the European Funds for Eastern Poland 2021-2027 program

Our company, Dammy Planet Sp. z o.o., has received funding for the project "Implementation of a design strategy through the development and launch of a modular children's water bottle supported by a subscription, returns, and recycling system" under the European Funds for Eastern Poland 2021-2027 program, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Priority, Design in SMEs Measure - Call dedicated to entrepreneurial women.

The project will involve implementing design processes, which will result in the development of a design project encompassing the functional, structural, and aesthetic features of a new product – a modular children's water bottle.

The project will include consulting services covering all key stages of the design process and preparations for the new product's implementation.

The project will include:

  1. design consultancy services, which will include the development of design concepts for a children's water bottle;
  2. structural design consultancy services;
  3. preparation of technical documentation for the new water bottle;
  4. selection of safe, certified materials approved for food contact, taking into account environmental aspects;
  5. prototyping consultancy services – functional models of the product will be created;
  6. testing consultancy services, including functional and performance tests with children and caregivers;
  7. implementation consultancy services necessary to obtain an industrial design – including the preparation of application documentation, recommendations for the scope of protection, and cooperation with a patent attorney.

Concurrently with the design work, consultancy services will be provided on the design of a return and recycling system for consumable components and the development of a visual identification system and information materials.

This will be complemented by the development of a CRM system model integrated with the subscription and returns cycle, and the project will be completed with a consultancy service on compliance with EU standards, including preparation for certification in accordance with the requirements for children's products.

The project will result in the launch of a new, innovative product – a modular children's water bottle, which will be part of a larger utility system based on the principles of circularity.

The product's primary target group is children aged 0-4 years, including those with special needs resulting from developmental, sensory, or physical limitations who are unable to independently express their needs or adapt the product to their own abilities.

Another significant group are caregivers, primarily women with young children, including pregnant women, the elderly, those weakened by illness, or parents with limited motor skills, who must independently operate the product and ensure its cleanliness, assembly, and adjustment to the child's current needs.
